Friends in Christ
I am so thankful to see groups like this! When I decided to give my life to Christ recently, it really made me look at the friends I had and if they would be supportive of my being reborn or if they would point me in a direction I no longer wanted to go in. I have met and reconnected with a few friends in my hometown that have been a huge support, but it's nice to meet people online that I can talk with as well!

I too experienced the very same thing when I gave my life to Christ back when I was 29...am in my 50s now.
As my Pastor says," Friends are like buttons on elevators, they can take you up or they can take you down."
This has been a long relaztion for me. I pray that this nugget Blesses you, and I look forward to talking with you about The Lord and doing life with like minded friends. I have made many mistakes in this arena, but God's Grace is sufficient and if I can encourage you through some of the things I experienced that would be wonderful and make all of it so worth every ounce of "stuff" that has happened.
None of these things shall move me !
