Reading Leviticus has been a bit startling and unsettling because of all the blood sacrifice. It's a good reminder that sin is serious and God is holy. I'm so thankful we have Jesus as our great high priest who offers us forgiveness and peace with God without the need for reoccurring animal sacrifice.

I so agree! Christ’s sacrifice is so precious! I am so thankful!!! The First Testament gives us such new insights and as we prayerfully read, God opens the door to greater understanding. Such a blessing to have the entire Bible!!!
