Finished today's reading. Matthew 17:22-23 stood out to me because of how clearly Jesus makes know his upcoming death and resurrection. They still forgot about his prediction of rising from the dead, but I can hardly blame them.

Anyway, on a more encouraging note, Psalm 18:6 says "My cry to Him reached his ears".

How awesome that the God of the universe, the all powerful God, should hear our voice when we cry to him for help!
