Today is full of emotions. Today is a day that will live with me just as much as, if not more than the terror attacks do on September 11. Our world appears to be broken spiritually and has lost its way. I pray for the entire Kirk family today. The anguish and grief they bear is unimaginable to me. I also have another procedure scheduled for ongoing medical issues. The anxiety I feel with each doctor appointment or procedure is always trying to overshadow God’s grace and love. I want to send my love and prayers to the Kirk family and to our entire Christian brothers and sisters. May we be comforted in knowing heaven is our real home, and though our grief is great, God is greater. Erika, and family, I will always support you and your mission. Charlie will always be one of many reason I found my way back to Jesus. As I heard him say once, ‘Jesus saved my life.’ I tell anyone and everyone that now, because it’s true. Jesus truly saves!
