I would just like to pray for strength and courage: I pray Almighty God, today we place in your hands every man and woman who serve us in the military, protect them in every mission. Cover them with your shield of safety. Give them courage in the face of danger, wisdom in every decision, strength when they feel weary, and peace in moments of uncertainty; and Father I ask for the families that are not with them cover them with a special covering Psalm 91 covers them as you are there refuge.
