Happy Independence Day! I was reflecting this morning how blessed I am to be in this country at this time. What an honor!! God sets our times and boundaries and for whatever reason He chose us for the here and now. I often wonder why… could it be because I can love Him boldly and unapologetically?

In thinking about the kids I’ve raised… I want this for them more than anything. For them to see that they are here for a purpose and to see them walk fully in it. I don’t want them to be just “Sunday Christians” in America- you know christian by name that just marks the church box every week??? I want them to fully walk in what God has for them. In the natural, that is not at all what I see- I can barely get them in the doors of a church now that they are grown. It leaves me wondering where I went wrong or what happened to my children who were raised in church?

My spirit tells a different story. My spirit sees and knows that God is up to something- He is writing their story and they will walk in the goodness of God! My challenge to you today - is don’t be discouraged by what you see in the natural! Just like in the 2 kings video today- we are surrounded by a great army fighting for us - and our kids!!

I am praying for our families today- that their hearts are open to the Lord and that they FREELY walk in the fullness of God! If you have anything specific you want prayer for your family! Please post so we can agree with each other.
